* 1 Top School from 5 top remaining districts in Semi Finals will get Rs. 1,000 each

* “Veda Dyuti” books designed in Lucid, Student Friendly Format

* Includes wealth of information about Upanishads with 8 stories about key Upanishadic concepts

* Questions and answers at the end of each chapter, unique "Activities" section at the end of book

* Students can reap the benefits of spiritual knowledge through the Upanishads and empower themselves for a better tomorrow

* Entire programme is available in both English and Kannada languages

 

Programme Details

*  June / July 2012: Enrollment all over Karnataka begins (Last Date: 15th July 2012)

* July 2012: "Veda Dyuti" books, printed both in English and Kannada languages will be distributed to all enrolled Students

* October 2012: Preliminary: Written exam with objective and essay type questions from the entire book - for all participants from all schools registered - will be conducted in their respective schools.

* November 2012: Semi Finals: Written exams for top 5 students from top 5 schools in each
District will be conducted in their respective / nearby districts all over Karnataka

* December 2012: Finals: Finals for 5 schools winning top 5 positions in Semi Finals from all over Karnataka - will be conducted by Sri Dileep Bellave K and a Revered Swamiji and results
will be announced immediately and prizes will be distributed at the end of the programme

* ICSE, CBSE, State Syllabus students studying 8th, 9th and 10th Standards during academic
year 2012 – 2013 only are eligible

* All students should pay the fees to the designated teacher in the school and contact the
same teacher for reference books and other details about the event

* All participating students will be given a reference text book "Veda Dyuti" on Upanishads at
no extra cost

* Written tests can be taken in English, Kannada languages

* List of qualified candidates and results of all written and oral rounds will be announced
